Home/Our Process

A build you can follow, phase by phase.

Custom construction doesn't need to feel like chaos. Dev runs every project through the same four disciplined phases — so you always know where your home stands, and what happens next.

The four phases

From bare lot to handed-over keys.

01

Phase one

Planning

From the very beginning, Dev puts two decades of experience into everything from lot selection to plan development. A carefully planned home is the foundation of a build that meets industry standards — and finishes on time and on budget.

02

Phase two

Construction

Every sub-trade is selected deliberately and managed closely. The right people, coordinated by one accountable construction manager, are what keep a site running the way it should.

03

Phase three

Finishing

Accountability and attention to every last detail are what set Dev Dheenshaw Construction apart. The finishing stage is where that discipline becomes something you can see and touch.

04

Phase four

Completion

Quality workmanship to industry standards — a home built to stand the test of time, handed over the way it was promised on day one.

What to expect

Planned first. Built once.

The first phase is where your build is actually won. Before anything is ordered or poured, Dev works through the lot, the plans and the budget with you — because a carefully planned home is what allows the construction phase to run clean, and the final cost to match the conversation you had at the start.

During construction you deal directly with Dev — the person who planned your build is the person managing it on site. Questions get answered by the builder, not relayed through an office.

The standard

Details are the deliverable.

The finishing phase is where builds are separated. Millwork that lines up, transitions that disappear, hardware that sits square — accountability for every last detail is the difference between a house that photographs well and a home that holds up to daily life.

Completion means quality workmanship to industry standards, checked and handed over — a home built to stand the test of time.
